ORDINANCE N0. 82- 72 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a TAIhole <br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A COPITRACT TO ATLAS <br />ELECTRIC IN THE AMOUNT OF T4JENTY THOUSAND <br />NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($20,900.00) AS LOWEST <br />AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE ELECTRZCAL WORK TO <br />BE PERFORMED IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM BUILDING <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNGIL OF MAYFIFLD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by 1aw, Atlas Electric is hereby declared <br />to be the lowest and best bidder for the electrical work to be <br />performed in the construction of the community room building in the <br />municipality. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Finance Director are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with At1as Electric in an amount <br />not to exceed Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($20,900.00) for <br />the aforementioned electrical work, said work to be performed in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications and the bid received <br />thereupon. <br />Section 3e A11 other bids are hereby rejectede <br />Section 4. That the Council finds and determines that al1 <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been takeri at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with a11 statutory requirements, including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Codeo <br />Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />liealth, safety, and welfare of the residerits of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that the contract authorized herein is esseritial to <br />completing the necessary municipal building.
