The Mayor ancl Finance Director are hereby authorized <br />and directe to enter into a purcliase agreeTnerit with Aeacon"s Chrysler- <br />Plymouth, Inc, in an amount not to exceed Teri Tliousand One Hundred <br />Sixty Dollars ($10,160.00) f or each. police cruiser provided that the <br />purchase agreemerit sha17, be in accozdance with the specifications <br />upon which the bid was receivec7e <br />Section 3. That the Cov.nci:l finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council re2ating to the adoption o,f this <br />Resolution liave been takeri at operi meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of t1i%s Council and of its coinmittees, resulting <br />in such formal action, took place in meetings operi to tlie public, in <br />compli:ance witli a11 statutory reqv.irements, inc2ucling the reqv.irements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Oliio ReRrised Code, <br />Section 4. This Resqlv.tion is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imme iately necessazy for the pres'ervation o.f the health, <br />safety and welfare of tlie residerits of Mayfield Vi2lage for the reason <br />that the purchase authorized herein sha11 insure continued effective <br />law enf orcement within the municipa7.ity.
