RESOLUTION NO. 81- 2 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & .Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO GLEN BOOTH. <br />~~~ ~ <br />awrence J. F nn <br />WHEREAS, GLEN BOOTH has served as a member of the <br />Civil Service Commission of Mayfield Village for approximately <br />six (6) years; and <br />WHEREAS, GLEN .BOOTH has served as Chairman of the Civil <br />Service Commission of Mayfield Village for the past four (4) years; and <br />WHEREAS, GLEN BOOTH has, during the past two (2) years, <br />served in the dual capacity of Chairman and Secretary of the Civil <br />Service Commission of Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, GLEN BOOTH has distinguished himself during his <br />term of office with the Civil Service Commission of Mayfield Village <br />by his faithful and diligent service to the residents of Mayfield <br />Village; and <br />WHEREAS, GLEN BOOTH has chosen to resign his position on <br />the Civil Service Commission in: order to devote more time to his <br />"~ family and personal interests; and <br />WHEREAS, GLEN BOOTH should not be allowed to leave the <br />service of Mayfield Village without an expression of the appreciation <br />which he rightfully deserves; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO,. THAT: <br />Section 1. Official commendation and appreciation is <br />hereby extended to GLEN BOOTH for faithful, devoted and effective <br />service to Mayfield Village through his term of office with~the <br />Civil Service Commission. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized, <br />empowered and directed to prepare duplicate original copies of this <br />Resolution. One such original copy shall be presented to GLEN BOOTH <br />as a small token of the esteem in which he is held by the residents, <br />officials, staff members and employees of Mayfield Village. The <br />other original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village <br />as a lasting tribute to GLEN BOOTH. <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect at the <br />earliest time allowed by law. <br />Alan G.
