ORDINANCE NO. 81-32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. <br />81-21 TO INCREASE THE CLOTHING ALLOTMENT FOR <br />AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICERS TO FIVE HUNDRED <br />DOLLARS ($500.00). <br />WHEREAS, existing Ordinance 81-21 provides in Section 2(h) <br />that each newly appointed Auxiliary Police Officer shall receive <br />an allowance for clothing in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred <br />Fifty Dollars ($350.00); and <br />WHEREAS, Council has, since the enactment of Ordinance No. <br />81-21, determined that the amount provided therein to purchase a <br />uniform for an Auxiliary Police Officer is insufficient; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 2(.h) of Ordinance No. 81-21 is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(h) Each newly appointed Auxiliary Police Officer <br />shall receive an allowance in an amount not <br />to exceed Five Hundred Dollars (.$500.00). <br />The Chief of Police will issue a purchase <br />order as required. <br />Section 2. Existing Section 2(.h) of Ordinance No. 81-21 <br />is hereby repealed. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in <br />that it helps provide a reasonable compensation for the services . <br />rendered by integral._,employees of the municipality.
