RESOLUTION NO. 81- 48 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING GUS AMENDOLA AS PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE COMMUNITY ROOM PROJECT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have previously determined that the old salt shed should be converted into a municipal community room; and WHEREAS, there has been established a Community Room Committee for the purpose of raising funds to pay for the conversion of the salt shed into a community room; and WHEREAS, the aforesaid Community Room Committee has raised enough funds so that construction work has commenced on the salt shed; and WHEREAS, funds will be available from time-to-time as raised by the Community Room Committee and construction will proceed as funds become available; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that a project manager should be named. to coordinate the construction work as it proceeds; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Gus Amendola, is hereby designated as the Project Manager for the conversion of the existing salt shed into a community room. The construction authorized by the Project Manager shall be only that construction previously authorized by action of Council, whether by Motion, legislation or otherwise. Section 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in that the construction project mentioned herein has commenced and a Project Manager is necessary to supervise both the construction work and the expenditure of funds.
