RESOLUTION NO. 81- 48 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING GUS AMENDOLA AS <br />PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE COMMUNITY ROOM <br />PROJECT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have previously determined <br />that the old salt shed should be converted into a municipal <br />community room; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been established a Community Room Committee <br />for the purpose of raising funds to pay for the conversion of the <br />salt shed into a community room; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid Community Room Committee has raised <br />enough funds so that construction work has commenced on the salt <br />shed; and <br />WHEREAS, funds will be available from time-to-time as raised <br />by the Community Room Committee and construction will proceed as <br />funds become available; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that a project <br />manager should be named. to coordinate the construction work as it <br />proceeds; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Gus Amendola, is hereby designated as the Project <br />Manager for the conversion of the existing salt shed into a community <br />room. The construction authorized by the Project Manager shall be <br />only that construction previously authorized by action of Council, <br />whether by Motion, legislation or otherwise. <br />Section 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in <br />that the construction project mentioned herein has commenced and <br />a Project Manager is necessary to supervise both the construction <br />work and the expenditure of funds. Tt shall therefore take effect <br />immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than <br />five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or <br />n <br />
