ORDINANCE NO. <br />INTRODUCED BY: <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH PAUL K. GREER, FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6635 WILSON MILLS ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 79-5, this Council declared <br />its intent to acquire the real property located at 6635 Wilson Mills <br />Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio, and further known as Cuyahoga County <br />Permanent Parcel No. 831-15-16, and owned by Paul K. Greer; and <br />WHEREAS, after negotiation, the said Paul K. Greer has <br />agreed to sell the subject property to the Village for the sum of <br />Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00); and, <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the sum of Sixty <br />Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is a fair and equitable price for the <br />purchase of the said real property; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Finance Director are authorized, <br />empowered and directed to enter into a contract and consummate the <br />purchase of property owned by Paul K. Greer, at 6635 Wilson Mills <br />Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio, as is more fully described in Resolution <br />No. 79-5, the same being a declaration of intention to acquire such <br />property. <br />Section 2. The purchase price shall be Sixty Thousand <br />Dollars ($60,000.00) and the Village is authorized to pay all expenses <br />normally incurred upon the transfer of property. <br />Section 3. This is an emergency Ordinance necessary for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in that it will provide <br />for the expansion of necessary municipal services. It shall therefore <br />take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of <br />not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by <br />the Mayor, or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />APPROVED: <br />..vs <br />side ~ o % Council <br />Robert G.
