ORDINANCE NO. 80-4 <br />Page -2- <br />in Court if such appearance occurs while the <br />police officer is not on duty. The police officer <br />under these circumstances shall be paid the equivalent <br />of two hours additional compensation computed at the <br />officers regular hourly rate provided in Section 1. <br />(f) Each full-time member of the Service Department <br />shall be reimbursed for work clothing purchased in an <br />amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) <br />per year. The Finance Director is authorized to make <br />such distribution during January of each year. Receipted <br />bills evidencing the purchase will be submitted to the <br />Building Commissioner for his approval and then on to <br />the Finance Director for payment. The uniform allowance <br />may also be used for uniform maintenance. <br />Section 2. Existing Section 2 of Ordinance 79-93 is hereby <br />repealed. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of Mayfield Village in that it helps to <br />provide adequate and reasonable compensation for the services rendered <br />by employees of the. municipality. It shall therefore take effect <br />immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five <br />(5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise <br />at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />President of Council <br />PASSED: <br />APPROVED: <br />Robert G.
