ORDINANCE N0. 80- 28 <br />INTRODUCID BY: Council as a ti~~hole <br />AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE AWARD OF A.CONTRACT TO FRASER <br />PAVING CO. AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE REPAVING <br />AND REDITCHING OF ECHO DRIVE IN HAYFIELD VILLAGE. <br />WHEREAS, this Council did heretofore on October 15, 1979 by <br />Ordinance No. 79-74 declare Fraser Paving Co. to be the lowest and best <br />bidder for the repaving and reditching of Echo Drive in Mayfield Village; <br />and <br />~,1HEREAS, this Council by said Ordinance No. 79-74 did authorize, <br />empower and direct the Mayor and Director of Finance to enter into a con- <br />tract with said Fraser Paving Co. and did reject all other bids received; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Director of Finance did so enter into a <br />contract with said Fraser Paving Co.; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council did heretofore on April 21, 1980 by <br />Ordinance No. 80-25 repeal said Ordinance No: 79-74; now; therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to adver- <br />tisement as required .by law, Fraser Paving Co. is declared to be the lowest <br />and best bidder for the repaving and reditching of Echo Drive in Mayfield <br />Village. <br />Section 2. The contract heretofore entered into by the Mayor and <br />Director of Finance with Fraser Paving Co., and their acts in entering into <br />such contract, are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed and said officials <br />are hereby authorized and directed to take such steps, if any, as may be <br />deemed necessary or convenient by the Director of Law to evidence such rati- <br />fication, approval and confirmation. <br />
