ORDINANCE N0. 80- 29 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a ~Jhole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE 80-18. <br />WHEREAS, this Council did, on March 25, 1980, pass Ordinance <br />80-18, entitled: <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO ISSUE A NOTE IN THE PRINCIPAL <br />AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRID ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRID DOLLARS <br />($101,500.00) IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS <br />AND THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE PROPERTY OWNERS' <br />PORTION AND THE VILLAGE'S PORTION OF THE COST OF REPAVING <br />AND REDITCHING ECHO DRIVE. <br />WHEREAS, it has now been determined that the Ordinance was <br />prematurely passed for the reason that it is unclear which of the various <br />cost estimates it refers to; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Ordinance 80-18 is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 2. This is an emergency Ordinance immediately necessary <br />for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the passage of this Resolution <br />as it .existed would have severely burdened the ability of Payfield Village <br />to finance other needed governmental operations.
