(6) Some years ago MayHei began charging Gates Mills. This move stemed from a mayo disagreement on SOM Center lighting assess- ments. Gates Mills used to pay (because the lights shined on their town); hence, Mayfield Heights, in retaliation, charged them for fire services.(Senior Council members may recall this).
