ORDINANCE NO. 80- 42 <br />~ INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AA~ENDING SECTION <br />123.02 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Ordinance 123.02 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village,-Ohio is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />123.02 CONTRACTS: ADVERTISING FOR BIDS; AWARD. <br />The advertising for bids involving the expenditure <br />of more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) shall be <br />made by Motion of Council directing the Finance Director <br />to advertise for not less than once during each of two <br />(2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the Municipality. The award of a contract accepting <br />such bid shall be by Resolution of Council and shall <br />direct the Mayor and Finance Director to enter into an <br />appropriate contract. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in <br />that it will continue the expeditious continuation of essential <br />municipal services.
