ORDINANCE NO. 80-51 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />TO NORTHERN OHIO PAVING CO..AS THE LOWEST AND <br />BEST BIDDER FOR THE PAVING OF THE SERVICE <br />BUILDING SITE, INCLUDING THE PARKING LOT AND <br />DRIVEWAY, LOCATED WITHIN HAYFIELD VILLAGE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, NORTHERN OHIO PAVING CO. is declared <br />to be the lowest and best bidder for the paving of the service building <br />site, including the parking lot and driveway, located in Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized, empowered and directed to enter into a contract with <br />NORTHERN OHIO PAVING CO. in a form satisfactory to the Law Director <br />and in an amount not to exceed the bid price of Forty Nine Thousand <br />One Hundred Forty Three Dollars and Fifty Cents ($49,143.50). <br />Section~3. This is an emergency ordinance immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents of P•~ayfield Village in that it will provide for improved <br />and safer access to a municipal building. It shall therefore take <br />effect immediately upon approval by the affirmative vote of not less <br />than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor <br />or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />President of Council <br />PASSED: July 2.1, 1980 <br />APPROVED: j <br />Rober G.
