ORDINANCE NO. 80-62 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LOVE INSURANCE <br />AGENCY AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR MUNICIPAL <br />COMPREHENSIVE LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by. law, Love Insurance Agency is declared <br />to be the lowest and best bidder for municipal comprehensive liability <br />insurance coverage for the period commencing December 14, 1980 and <br />terminating December 13, 1981, on a bid placing such insurance coverage <br />with the Personal Service Insurance Company. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized, empowered and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Love Insurance Agency in a form satisfactory to the Director of Law <br />for such insurance coverage in an amount to to exceed the amount <br />of Twelve Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Dollars and Eighty Cents <br />($12,330.80). <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village <br />in that the insurance coverage awarded will help protect Village <br />assets from damage claims. It shall therefore take effect immediately <br />upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members <br />elected to Council and approval by the Mayor, or otherwise at the <br />earliest time allowed by law. <br />Alan G.
