ORDINANCE N0. 80 - 67 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR TRANSFER <br />AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES <br />DURING THE YEAR 1980. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: <br />Section 1. To the extent that, during the year 1980, any <br />expenditures have been made by or under authority of Council of <br />M ayfield Village, Ohio, for any items in excess of the amounts <br />appropriated therefor by the Appropriation Ordinances and Amend- <br />ments thereto adopted in 1980, or for items for which no specific <br />appropriations were made by said ordinances, the Finance Director <br />of Mayfield Village is hereby authorized and directed to transfer <br />sufficient monies from other appropriation items which have not <br />been fully expended, and, if necessary, from monies in the General <br />Fund not otherwise specifically appropriated, to cover such expen- <br />ditures , and the monies so-transferred are hereby appropriated for <br />the purpose of making such expenditures. <br />Section 2. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, <br />safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in that it <br />provides for sufficient funds for necessary day-to-day operations <br />of the municipality. It shall therefore take effect immediately <br />upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five ( 5) <br />members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor, or otherwise <br />at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />Alan G.
