--~.~ ORDIT?AIvCE N0. ~Sl <br />BY COUNCILMAN ST~'ANSON <br />AN ORDIN~IIVCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE PURCHASE OF VAP~IGUS EG?UTPNLNT <br />FOR THE FIRT; DEPARTMENT. <br />ti;~HER.EAS, the Fire Chief ha.s recommended to this Council the purchase <br />of one 3" pump with a capacity of 15,000 gallons per hour foi~ the sum of <br />~3G~0.00 which said pump is necessary to recharge the water tank on the <br />fire truck of the Village in case of a large fire and his recommended the <br />purchase of three search lights, 3 fifty-foot cables, 3 ten-foot cables, <br />3 bulbs for said search light and 3 sets of mounting clamps for the sarile <br />at a cost of X260.60, and <br />ti~~~HEREAS, Homelite Corporation has offered to supply said equipment <br />in accordance with said prices,.and <br />ti?I~REAS, said bid is the lowest and best bid received therefor; <br />NOtii, THEREFORE, BE TT_ ORDAIT~ED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />M~YFIELD, CUYAHOGA COU~1~I'Y, OHIO, that: <br />Section l: It is hereby determined tl~~.t this Vi11age purchase <br />~ from Homelite Coz~poration one 3" pump with a capacity'of 15,000 gallons per <br />hour for the sum of ~3G~0.00 and 3 search lights Frith necessary cables, bulbs <br />-~'~ and mounting clamps a.s hereina.bove set forth for ~260.h0 and thaw the <br />proper officers of this Village be authori~"ed and directed to do all things <br />necessary to consuT.mnate the purchase of such equipment. <br />_ Section .2: This Ordinance is here'ay declared to be an emergency <br />ordinance necessary for the immediate prescrva.tion of the pui~lic health, <br />safety, convenience and welfare for reasons apparent from the contents of <br />said Ordnance and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after its date of passage. <br />Passed the 15th day of December A.P. 1947• <br />i~iayor - President "of Council <br />Attest: <br />~/ ~~- <br />(SEAL) Village Clerk <br />.~ <br />_~ri. <br />_~ -w•~~ <br /> <br />
