ORDITdANCE No. ~ ~ q <br />By Mr • ~ ~- o ~ ~/ <br />AN ORDIIdAIdCE PROVIDING FOR ^1 HE EXCHANGE <br />OF FIRE EQ,UTPMET1T .AND FIREMEN III CASE <br />OR ~7LRGENCY WITH THE VILLAGE 4F HAYFIELD <br />HES GIiTS, THE VILLAGE OF LYNDHURST, TIC <br />CITY_ OF SOUTH EUCLID, THE VILT~AGE OF_ GATES <br />MILLS, AND THE VILLAGE OF HIGHL9ITD Hg GTTCS <br />BE IT ORDAINEA BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAIiOGA COUNTY, <br />STA`PE OF OHIOs <br />Section is That the Mayor and Clerk of the V~,]-lags of Nla,yfield <br />are hereby authoriz®d to enter a.nto contracts on behalf of the Village of <br />Mayfield with the Village of TJtayfaeld Heights, the Village of Lyndhurst, <br />the City of South Euclad9 the Village of Gates Mills, and the Village of <br />Highland Heights, providing for the exchange of fire fighting equipment <br />and firemen in the ®vant of emergency. Such contracts shall define <br />.emergency to mean such a simultaneous existence of a fare or fires in a <br />municapal~.ty .thin whose limits such fare or fares exist that said <br />munaaapality as unable to cope with the same. Such contracts shall not <br />requ3.re any party thereto to leave unprotected or an jeopardy at3 otivn <br />territory and shall provide that the party making such emergency run out <br />of its own municipal.lii~its shall bear all expenses, loss or damage incurred. <br />thereby.
