BE IT ORDAIPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT; Sec. 1. There is hereby created the position of the Building Inspecto- r service Direotor who shall be appointed by the - Tv7ayor, by and with the consent of the Council, and shall hold office during the pleasure of the Mayor. Sic. 2. The Building Inspector & Service Director shall have the follov~a.ng duties: (~.~ Tc prepare the permits- and certificates required by aecti on 12 of Ordinance No. 86 or by az~y subsequent S amendment of the Building Code of the Village of I!'Iayfiold and describe the character of the building covered by such permit,-fir. and collect the fees therefor a.s provided in Ordinance No. 294, or a1~y subsequent amendments of the Building Code, give receipts for the same, report violations of the Building Code to tkie Mayor and assist in the enf'orce- meat of the Building Code; (b) To act as Custodian of the Village Hall; (c) To act as school guard in order to protect children crossing the public h3.gknrtrays near school buildings within 'the Village; (d) To have charge of the maintenance, operation and repair, of sewer pumps in connection with the sanitary sewage system of the Village of T!2a.yfield; (e) To collect rubbish with his otivz~. truck until such time as the Village procures its ovm truck. He . shall receive the sum of X1.00 per hour for the - use of his own truck.; (f} ^lo colleot garbage at such time as the Village acquires its ovrn truck. Sed. 3. The compensation oi" the Building Inspector 8c Service Director shall be ~p130.00 per month, payable from the Treasury of the Village, but may be changed from time to time by Council. All building permit fees shall hereafter be paid into the Village Treasury and shall not be retained by the Building Inspector ~ Service Director.
