THE VILLAGE ROADS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, TEATS <br />WHEREAS, du® advertisement has been had in accordance with law, <br />inviting bias for the sale to the Village of Mayfield of a used dump <br />trunk in aocordance with specifications heretofore approved by this <br />Council; and <br />WEERE,AS, Talarico Truck Sales & Service Co.,~ of Mayfield Heights, <br />Ohio, filed its bid w3.th the Clerk, offering to sell to this Village for <br />the sum-of X1500,00, one used t~+1o-ton-International Dump Truck, 1941 mod®1, <br />6 cylinders, Motor No. FAB 246 6723, Tdla~.ufacturerts Serial. No. 4732, horse <br />power 27,3, body typo -.chassis and cab; Model K6, with 134 inch wheel base, <br />four new rear tires, front tires being 60/ good, said trttek being equippQd <br />with a new 6-1~2 x 8_Galion body and neap G-•567A 7 inch Galion Hoist; and <br />WHEREAS, said bid is the lowest and best submitted therefor; and <br />WHEREAS, said trucx is necessary for:maintaining, re-eonstruct~.ng, <br />repairing, widening, clearing, and cleaning of the puUlic streets of the <br />Vil7.aga. . <br />NOW THEREFORE, be i:t' oz~dained as folloc~rss <br />Sect~.on 1: That. the bid of Talarico Truck Sales & Service Co., <br />offering to sail to, the Village a used two~on dump truck,_equippvd with <br />Galion Body and Galion Hoist, as more fully described above, be, and the <br />same hereby is, accept®d. <br />. Sect3.on 2s That the proper offa.eers of the Village be, and they <br />hereby are, authorized and ordered to do all things nvovssary to consuzmnate <br />the purchase of the above described property. <br />Section 3s That the sum of.~1500.00 is-hereby appropriated from the-- <br />Street Maintenance and Repair Funds derived froab the Gasoline Tax and Motor <br />Vehicle License Tax for that purpose. <br />Section 4a This Ordinance is deolared to be an emergency measur®, <br />necessary for the imm®diate pr®servation of the publa.o health, safety and <br />general wel:~are of the Village or^ Mayfield and its inhabitants, for the <br />reason .that the above described eguipm®nt is needed irunediat®1y for the <br />streets of the Villag®~ and this Ordinance shall. go into effect 9~mediately <br />upon the date of its passag®. <br />Passed this 3rd day of November .. m <br />Attest a <br />n ~~ .,( ~° /' Ma or- President of Council <br />
