<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COtAQCIL OF THE VILT.~GE OF MAYl~IEI,D, STATE OF OHTOs
<br />Sect~.or1 1. The ma~ciannn price ~rhiah The East Ohio Gas Compaz~y, its
<br />s~icceasora and assigns . ( h®reinaf'ter oa3led the "Compa~r") shall be per~.tted
<br />to charge and the minisw;m prise at which it-shall be repaired to furnish
<br />natural gas to the 4illage of Mayfield, Ohio (hereinafter called the "village")
<br />and Sts inhabitants, for the gr~r~:od beginna,ng_~r3.th the dates that meters are _ ,
<br />read in the Village iugaediately follo~r3.ng: the. date that gas service is
<br />established and. ending.~w3.th the readsng_ of meters in October, 1952, unless
<br />sooner ter~.aated as here~I~ter provided, shall. b® at~d the same hereby is
<br />fined for eaoh individual consumer as follo~ss
<br />For the first 1000 xx~uubio f®et or 1®ss, . or none, eaoh moth, 90~;
<br />- For A11 over~1~000 vubio feet eaoh month, 55~ for eaoh 1000 cubic feet
<br />- -_ If the bill is xtot paid ~rithin ten days af`~er the maturity established
<br />` ~ therefor, 3~ additional per thousand..oubio feet per month.
<br />A11 bills shall b®. payable, at the main office of the Compat~y in th®
<br />C3,ty of C1o4®land, Ohio, or at such branch oolleastion agency or ag®noies in
<br />the V3.Ilage of Mayfield, or in the City of Cleveland,. Ohio, or elsewhere,
<br />as may from time to time b® established by the Company,
<br />Section 2. At at~y time after June 30~.1953,.the Village, at its
<br />option, may elect to terminate this ordinance and the contract as to rates
<br />oreated by its acoeptanoe by the Company, prior .to its expiration by lapse og
<br />tim®, by resolution. of its Council duly passed, a certified Dopy of which shall
<br />be sere®d upon the Compet~y_ at fts offio® 3n tgie C~.ty of Cleveland, Ohio, which
<br />said resolution shall specify a termiaat~,on date,not less than three months
<br />subsequent to the date of serving eaoh copy of eaoh resolution; and at say tiaua
<br />after said .June 30 IJ51, the Compax.~r, at its option, may likewi9e so elect to
<br />terminate this.ordihanoe and the contract-as $o rates oreated by .its acceptance
<br />hereof, by serving mitten notio® of eaoh term3.nation upon the Village,- which
<br />notice shall specify a terminat~.on date of not less than three months subsequent
<br />to the date of servittg eaoh written notice; _ and. after service of 'sash resol-
<br />ution or of eaoh. written. notice, at the time therein firmed for eaoh term3.nation,
<br />this ordinance and such contract as to rates shall teru~inate•
<br />Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force oa and
<br />after the ear lest period allow+eci by law. '
