NO'u'1 OPERATED _ $Y _ CUY.AHOGA COUNTY' , BE IT ORDAINED BY TFIE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA . C AUNTY, III O, THAT : _ .. _ - .. _ - - , - - Sec. 1. The Mayor and Cler& are hereby authorized on behalf of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio to enter into and execute a certain agreement in writing with the County of Cuyahoga, entitl®d: "Agreement betnreen Cuyahoga County and tho Village of Mayfield for the treatment of sewage from a portion of the Villag® of Mayfield at a sewage disposal plant now operated by Cuyahoga County", wherein the Village of Mayfield agrees to pay ~o the County_of Cuyahoga ou or before June 1st, 1950, a balance of ~460g00 due for aaoumulated sewage charges, and X5,00 per year per sew®r connoction beginning on April 1, 1950, ,said contract to remain in force for a period of three years, and to continue thereafter until abrogated by either party on 30 days' writt®n notice, with a further provision that the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be authorized to withhold from each semi-annual distribution of tax moneys to the Village a sum equal to one®half of the amount certified as due in such year from the Village of Mayfield to Cuyahoga County for sewage disposal charges, Sec. 2. This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measuro, necessary for, the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the Village of P/layfield and its inhabitants, in order to insure proper sewage disposal, and this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage.
