OF,PLQ~NS AIJD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ~ATE~ MA.TIdS_ALONG <br />AND .UNDER ..THE PRINC IPA,L _STREETS IN THIa; _ TILLAGE OF T4AYFLFLD. <br />1NHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, after~tharough consider- <br />ation of the various aspects of the problem and study of available data, <br />has determined that the construction of certain public works, generally <br />described as water mains along anal under the principal streets in the <br />Village, is desirable and in the public interest and to that end it is <br />necessary that action preliminary to the construction of said works be <br />taken immediately; and <br />1~~REAS, under the terms of Public Law -~n~352, Eighty-First <br />Congress, approved October 13, 1949, The United_States of America has <br />authorized the making of advances to public bodies to aid in defraying <br />the cost of architectural, engineering and economic investigations and <br />stuclies, surveys, designs, plans, working drawings, specifications, <br />~_ <br />procedures and other action preliminary to the construction of certain <br />-~~ public works; and <br />"tNfiEREAS, the Applicant has examined and duly considered such <br />act, axed the Applicant considers it to be in the public interest and to <br />its benefit to Pilo an Application under saa.d Act a'cd to authorize other <br />action in connection therev~rith; <br />N~nT THEREFQ'~E BE IT ~tDAITTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />I+4AYP ~ ~ LD, CUYAHOGA COUI~ITY, _ OHIG, TVITO-"THIRDS OF T~ MEP~iBERS ELLCTED__TSERETO <br />CONCURRING' .~ ~ ... ~ . _ - - ~ - - •_- ~ _ .. .. • .. <br />Sec. la The construction of said publio works is essential <br />to and is to the best interests of the Village of Mayfield, and to that <br />end such public works should be provided as promptly as practicable, <br />and it is desirable that action preliminary to the construction thereof <br />be undertaken iYrnnediately. <br />Sec. 2• That Herbert R• ~Yhiting, Clerk, is hereby authorized <br />to file on behalf of the Village of Mayfield an Application (in form <br />required by the United States and in conformith with said Act) far axt <br />adv811ce to be made by the United States to the Village of Payfield to <br />aid in defraying the planning cost preliminary to the construction of such <br />public works, which shall consist generally of water mains along and <br />C~ <br />
