CONCIIRRING THAT i ._.. _ Sec.-1, The Mayor az~d Clerk are hereby anthoriz®d, on behalf of the Vi11ag®-of.Mayfield, to enter into an agreement in writing with the City of U~.versity Heights, Ohio, for the use of the radio broadcasting facilities of Station KQa~934, in connection with the motor v+ehiclos operated by the Police: Depart-nent of the gillaga of Mayf'ie1d, for a period of one year, commenoing June lst~ 1950, and ending--May 31st, 1951, unless said agreement is terminated by either party upon 60 da'ys' written notice of such intention, Such agreement is to provide that the:City of University Heights wi11 broadoast~calls and messages on Station KQa 934 wh®~ and as requested-by the Village of Mayfield, and that the. Village of Mayfield shall pay therefore at the rate of X15.00 per mouth or any part, of ax~y month for one~aray servioe only, at the rate of X25.00 per month for all othor service for 350 calls or less per month or.part of any month, and at the rate of X30.00 per month for all other service for over. 350 calls a month or any.part of any months plus ax~y additional expense incurred by the City of Univarsith Heights for to11 calls, long distance telephone calls., telQgrams, or charges for excess calls in connection with suoh service. S®a. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the General Find of the Village-Treasury the sLUn of X30,00 per month, plus such other amounts as may be n,ecossary during the term of said oontract to pay for the services to be rendered thereunder. Sea. 3. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to ta1~e such steps as may be necessa.~y to the exeoution of said contract. See. 4. This ordinance is deemed to be an emsrgency measure necessary for the, inasrediate preservation of the safety health and welfare of the Village o~ Mayfield and its itahabitauts, in order to bring about better police protoct~on, and this ordinance shall go into inanediate effect upon the date of its passages
