THE COb'1PENSATION OF THE <br />ROAD FOREMAN. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TT3E COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OI' I~TAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />C QUIdTY, OHIO, _ THAT. <br />Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 252-A, entitled <br />"An Ordinance to Provide for a Road Foreman," as ~n.ended by Section 1 <br />of Ordinance No. 297, entitled "An Ordinance .Amending Ordinance No. <br />252-A by Increasing the Compensation of the Road Foreman," is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: - <br />"Section 3. The road foreman shall be paid as <br />compensation for his services the sum of One Dollar <br />Ninety-Four Cents 0 1.94} per hour for the actual <br />time spent by hirn in the discharge of his duties, <br />which compensation shall be paid on statements <br />rendered by him from time to time to the Council." <br />Section 2. Existing Section 3 of Ordinance No. 252-A and <br />Section 1 of Ordinance Ido. 297, as they hitherto e~d.sted, axe hereby <br />repealed from and after this date. <br />.Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public safety, health, convenience and welfare of the Village of <br />1`Jlayfield and its inhabitants, in order to retain the services of a <br />competent road foremal~, and this ordinance shall tape effect and be <br />in force from and after the date of its passa.ge;:~ <br />Passed this 21st day of August 1950. <br />~;, <br />T~ayor.~ President of Council <br />Attest: <br />,, Clerk <br />
