ORDINANCE No, 371 <br />By Mr. Hall <br />A1~3 QR.DINANCE GIVING THE CONSEPIT OF ^1HE VILLAGE OF <br />~~tl~YF~LD ^10 THE I~fAI1~ITENANCE AND REPAIl~ OF_ CERTAIN <br />ROADS 1;'~IT}iIN. THE V.CLLAGE, . <br />~~~~IEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved <br />a T'1Taintenance and Repair program for the year 1951; and <br />ti'VHEREAS, a number of the roads to be maintained and repaired are <br />Village Streets and also County Roads 1-no$m by the follo~ring names and lying <br />bet-vroen the limits designated, va.z: <br />ROAD FROM T 0 <br />Highland SOM Center Road E® Linv Highland Heights Village <br />Wilson Mills Candor P~oad W. Line Gates 1~6ills Village <br />aUhite SOM Cantor Road S. Line of Lakv County <br />Lander N. Dine Mayfield Hts, V~iilson Mills Road <br />r1~~REAS, the m.aintenaaco and repair is to include the follou~ring <br />operations: . <br />1, .Repairing roadway berms. <br />2, Cleaning axed repairing culverts and drainage systems. <br />3. Cleaning, repairing and treatnont oi° road surface. <br />4. Planting, mowing, pruning and removing weeds, trees and shrubs. <br />5. Repai ring and installing guard rail, <br />6. Installing and repairing road signs and warning signs. <br />7. OF 0$I0: - . , _ _ _ <br />Suction 1: That it i s declared to be of public interos'c that the <br />consort of the Village. by and such consent is hereby given to the maintenance <br />and 2ropair on the above menti oned highrJays between the texsni.ni aforesaid, by <br />the Board of County Com~.ssioners. <br />Section 2: This Ordinance is hereby declared to b© an er~.ergoncy <br />ordinance necessary for. the immediate preservation ox' the public health and <br />safety; such noeessit~f e:dsts by reason of the fact that freezing and thavring <br />action has created hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof <br />groat public inconvenience ~vould be suffered and public travel endangered and <br />delayed; and said ordinance shall tape ox"fact at the earliest time as <br />provided by law, <br />
