OF EMPLOYBdENT OF, SPECIAL _ <br />POLICEMEN.. _ _ ~ ~ _ <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF B4A,YFIELU, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF .OHIO, . THAI s :. _ ~~ <br />~- - <br />Sec. 1Q Svetiom-3 of Orditaance No. 362 entitled «An Ordinance To <br />Repeal Ordii~anees Nos. 296,325,_348 and 356, Axed to Provide For the Offices <br />and C~pensatio~t of Marshall and Chief of Police, Policemen and Special <br />P®lieem®n" is hereby amended to read, as follows::,_ <br />'tSvc. 3. Compex~sationo The following compensation shall be <br />paid on,a~nd after the effective date of this ordinance, but may by <br />changed at any timo by Council by ordinance, resolution or motion: <br />Marshall or Chief of Police - <br />Policeman <br />Special Policemen - <br />X300.00 per month <br />X250000 por month if employed on a <br />full time basis <br />X1.25 for each hour during which he <br />serves as such, on the call <br />of the Mayor or Chief of Police <br />A Special Policemaxt shall serve ot#ly at such times and <br />during such hours as shall be assigned to him by either the <br />Mayor or the Chief of Police. Provided, however, that the <br />total number of hours to be send by all special policeman <br />during any one week shall not exceed 8e Special arrangemeiats <br />may be made by Council with Special Policemen whereby he <br />shall not be paid for any police servic®. performed, ire <br />aonne ction with the operati ota of his -own business. " <br />Sec~2. Existing Section 3 of Ordinance No. 362 as it hitherto e~.sted <br />is hereby repealed on and after the date of the passage of this ordiuar~ce. <br />Svc. 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety <br />of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, because of the lack of funds <br />in the Village Treasury, and shall take effect a1p;d be ifa force from and after <br />the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of May, 1951Q <br />Attests <br />w <br />Mayor - P si ent of Council <br />2C.~, <br />SE Clerk <br />
