QRDINANCE No. 376 <br />By Mr.' T a~rl or <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRAGT'WITH THE CITY OF <br />UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS FQR.R9D20 BROADCASTING SERVICE FOR <br />~0 YEARS C OM~NC ING ~~ JUNE -' 1, 19 5~1~ '' <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF I~4AYFIELD HEIGHTS, CITYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, TWO-THIRDS OF THE MEMBERS ELECTED THERETO CONCURRING THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized, on b®half <br />of the Village Af Mayfield, to enter into an agreement in writing with <br />the City of University Heights, Ohio, for the use of the radio broadcasting <br />facilities of Station KOA 934, in connection with the motor vehicles <br />operated by the l'oliee Department of the Ville.ge of Mayfield, for a period <br />of two years, commencing June 1st, 1951, and a ndiizg May 31st, 1953, unless <br />said agreement is terminated by either party upon 60 days4 written notice <br />of such intentiot~a Such agreement is to provide that the_City of University <br />Heights will broadcast calls and messages on Station KOA 934, when and as <br />requested by the Village of Mayfield, and that the Village of Mayfield shall <br />pay therefore at the rate of X15.00 per month or any part of any month for <br />one-way serv;.co only, at the rate of X25.00 per month for all other service <br />for 350 calls or loss per month or part of any month, anal at the rate of <br />X30000 per month for all other ser~vi.ce for over 350 calls a month or any <br />part of eny month, plus any additioztal expense incurred by the City of <br />University Heights for toll calls, long distance t®lephone calls, telegrams, <br />or charges for excess calls in, tonne cti on with such se r~vi ce • <br />Seo® 2® There is hereby appropriated fr~n the General Fund of <br />the Village Treasury the sum of X30.00 per month, plus such other amounts <br />as may b® necessary during the term. of sand contract to pay for the <br />services to be rendered thereunder. <br />Sec. 3.
