ORDINANCE No. 38? <br />By Mr. Godfrey <br />AN ORDINANCE GIVING THE CONSENT OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE TO THE REMOVAL OF SNOuJ AND TCE FROM CERTAIN ROADS <br />t~VITHIId THE VILLAGE. <br />~TFRFAS, the Board of County Comin~.ssioners has tentatively approved <br />a Snow and Ice Removal program for the years 1951 - 1952; and <br />WHEREAfS, a rtnnber of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Village streets and also County roads known b y the following <br />names and lying between the limits designated, viz: <br />Highland Road ~Nesterly Village Line S.O.M.Center Road <br />Wilson Ptlills Road Lander Road Easterly Village Line <br />Lander Road Wilson Mills Road Southerly Village Line <br />NO'~T, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />MAYFTELD VILLAGE, STATE OF. OHIO: <br />Sec. 1, That it is declared to be of public interest that the <br />consort of the Village by and such consent is hereby given to the removal <br />of snow and ice or the above mentioned highways between the termini aforesaid. <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />ordinatace necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and <br />safety; such necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet <br />storms may soon create hazardaus conditions on these roads, in consequence <br />whereof great public inconvenienee would be suffered and publ3.c travel <br />endangered and delayed. <br />Sec. 3. That the Clerk be, and he is hereby, directed to furnish <br />to the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, a certified <br />copy of this Ordinance immediately upon the taking effect therooi". <br />Passed this 15th day of October, 1951. <br />Attest; <br />r <br />Seal Clerk <br />~-•-•- <br />Mayorf/- President of Council <br />
