ordinanae Na. 401 <br />By Mr. Shatz <br />AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE T~$AINTENANCE .AND <br />REPAIR OF CERTAIN STREETS AND ROADS.BY THE BOARD <br />OF. COUNTY COMMISSIOlUERS . OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO. <br />~:. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved <br />a T~aintenance and Repair program for the year 1952; and <br />VVHFREAS, a number of the roads to be maizztained and repaired aro <br />Village Straets and also County Roads known by the following names and <br />lying be~tvreen the limits designated, viz: <br />Road From To <br />Highle..nd S.O.M. -Cutter Road W. Line Mayfield Village <br />Wilson Mills Lander Road E. Line Mayfield Village <br />'White S.O.M. Center Road W. Line Mayfield Village <br />Lander S.Line Mayfield Vil]age Wilson T'dills Road <br />WHEREAS, the maintenance and repair is to include the folloving <br />operations: <br />1. Repairing roadway berms <br />20 Cleelzing and repairing culverts and drainage systems <br />3. Cleaning, repairing and treatment of road surface <br />4. Planting, mowing, pruning and removing weeds, trees & shrubs <br />5. Repairing and installing guard rail <br />6. Installing and repairing road signs and warning signs <br />7. Painting traffic lanes, center lines and mark3.ng RR crossings. <br />i1T07V~ THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFZELD, <br />STATE OF OHIO:- - ~ - <br />Sec. 1. That it is declared to be of public interost that the consent <br />of the Vi1le.ge by and such consent is hereby given to the maintenance and repair <br />on the above mentioned highv~rays between the termini aforesaid, by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. - <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency mrdinance <br />necessary for the. immediate preservation of the public health and safety; such <br />tzecessity exists by reason of the fact that froezing and thawing action has <br />created hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof great <br />public inconvenience would be suffered and public travel endangered and <br />delay®d, and said ordinance shall take effect at the earliest time as <br />provided by lawn <br />
