Ordinance No. 405 By Mr. Scheuring AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE .AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 393 PASSED A,S AN URGENCY MEASURE DECEMBER 17, 1951. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL C~' THE VILLAGE OF M,AYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 393, passed as an emergency mee~sure December 17, 1951, a acid the same is hereby amended to read as follc~srs "Section 3. Said Y~ater Main Bonds of 1951, Seri®e A, Va.llage Portion, shall be issued in the prinoipal sum of $40,000.00 for the purpose of constructing the Village of Mayfield portion of the cost of constructing water mains in the roads and streets as provided in Section 2 herein. Each of said bonds shall be in the denomination of X1,000.00, sha11 be dated March 1, 1952, and shall bear interest at the rate of 3~ per annum, payable semi-annually on the first day of June and Decemb®r of each year, beginning December 1, 1952. Said bonds shall mature in the amount of $2,000.00 on the first day of December in each of the years 1953 to 1972 both inclusive, which said bonds are hereby determined to be im equal annual installments; and said bonds shall be numbered from 1 to 40, both inclusive. The ,principal and interest of said bonds sha11 be payable at the Main Office of thr~ National City Bank, Cleveland, Ohio." Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of the publio peace, health and safety, and for the further reason that the bonds authorized by said amended ordinance are required to be issued to provide a fund to pay for the Village portion of the cost of constructing water main improvements in.Mayfisld Village and there- fore this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage as an emergency mea- 8ure .
