ORDINANCE No. I~16 <br />Ear Hr.. Sloan <br />AN ORDINANCE GIVING THE'CONSENT OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />P6AYFIE~D TO THE RF~OVAL OF' SNOV!' ANN IGE FROM , <br />CERTAIN ROADS WITHIN THE VILLAGE. <br />WI~REAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved <br />a Snow and Ice Removal program .for the years 1952 - 19539 and <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Village streets and also County roads known by the following <br />names and lying between the limits designated, viz: <br />ROAD <br />FR01~ <br />TO <br />Highland Road <br />Wilson Hills Road <br />Lander Road <br />Westerly Village Line <br />Lander Road <br />Wilson Ddi_lls Road <br />S.O.D. Center Road <br />Easterly Village Line <br />Southerly Village Line <br />NOW TARE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO:_ <br />Sec. 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the consent <br />of the Village be and such consent is hereby given to the removal of snow and <br />ice on the above mentioned highways- between the termini aforesaid. <br />Sec. 2® This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety; such <br />necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms may soon <br />create hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof great public <br />inconvenience would be suffered and public travel endangered and delayed. <br />Sec. 3. That the Clerk be, and he hereby is, directed to f urnish to <br />the Boar~Of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, a certified copy <br />of this Ordinance immediately upon the taking effect thereof. <br />Passed this 13th day of October, 1952. <br />Attest: <br />.~,.G~,t,'!~ <br />Se Clerk <br />yor - resident of Counci <br />
