AUTOMOBILE .: <br />WfiEREAS., Council determ~.ries'~tYat•~~the 19y2'~Ford~'Ranch Wagon nrnv <br />owned by the Village of--Mayfield 'and us~ed''by'tYie-`Polic'e Department' is, <br />because of its use and mileage, unfit for public use and_is wori~,h-less than <br />X1,000.00, and the Village has need of anew-police automobile of a similar <br />kind and type; and • <br />11PHEREAS Euclid Ford Company has, for the purpose of introducing <br />and advertising its nevi type of panel .CuY°rier Ford Police Car, offered to <br />exchange a new 1953 panel Currier Ford Police Car for the aforamentioned <br />1952 police car of the Village of l~dayfield, with no payment of money <br />involved; and <br />WHEREAS, Council deems it to the best iaaterests of the. Village of <br />Mayfield to make such exchange, whereby the Village will receive a new <br />latest type automobile in exchange for a car no longer adequate for use, <br />without any expenditure-of money by the Village, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESJLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA_COUNTY OHIO, THAT: ,. <br />Sec. 1. Council agrees to sell to Euclid Ford Company the 1952 <br />Ford Ranc Wagon now owned by the Village in r eturn for a new 1953 panel <br />Currier Ford Police Automobiles with no payment of cash involved. <br />Sec® 2. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute all papers <br />and documen s necessary to complete this transaction. <br />dec. 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary <br />for the immec~`i~e protection of the public peace, safety, health and welfare <br />of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants in order to procure the <br />latest type of equipment for police use and the said ordinance shall go into <br />effect immediately upon the-date of its passage. <br />Passed this 15th day of April, 1953© <br />Attest: <br />%~ <br />es - en o ounc <br />_ c~~ <br />SEAL C erk <br />
