ORDINANCE No. 154 <br />BY BQR. CORLETT <br />AN OR,DINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE FIN.flNCING <br />Ai.?D A.PPLICATION FOR A CER.TAIN CIVIL 'ffORKS <br />ADMINTSTRATION PROJECT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the CounciT of the Village of Mayfield, State of Ohio: <br />Section lo This GouneiZ finds that the Boa.rd of County Commisaioners <br />of Cuyahoga County' Ohio,, with the approval of the County Relief Commi.ttee a.nd <br />the State Relief Commission' has allocated to the ViZlage of iVlayfield from sel- <br />ective sales tax bon.d money the sum of $37.50 for the purchase of materials <br />and incidentals on Civil Works Administration projects, and that the division <br />of said $37.50 has been determined by the Village of Mayfield and the Board <br />of Education of Mayfield ToFrnship School District by IIna.tual agreement as <br />follows:- <br />Village of Mayfield share $ 18.75 <br />School Districtts sha.rs $ 18.75 <br />Section 2. This Council hereby agrees to assum.e the eost of materials <br />in the amount of $18a75 for Civil Works Adninistration project knovan as <br />T'Y 28511, and hereby appropriates for tha.t pUSpose the $18.75 above mentioned <br />from the VillagePS share of the proceeds of selective sales tra.x bonds. <br />Section 3. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to <br />prepare an amended project in compl.ia.nce with the regulations of the Civil 1Norks <br />Administration and attach to same copies of this Ordinance, and to take such <br />further action as may be necessary. The Clerk of this CounciZ is directea to <br />certif'y four copies of this Ordinance to the proper authorities of the Civil <br />Works Administration. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is deelarsd to be an emergency measure <br />necessary ior::the immed.iate preservation of the publie peace., health and <br />safety -uithin the VilTage of Mayfield for the reason -that ia order to proeeed <br />Zvith the sboge mentiensd praject materials must be purchased before the time <br />-when an Ordinance not enacted as an emergency measurs would take effecto This <br />Ordinance shall be in force from and after its adogtion. <br />Passed the 19th day of P!larch, 1954. <br />AtteSt o, <br />SFAL Clerk, <br />Mayo-r - President of Council <br />CLERK'S CERTIFICgTE <br />I, EIILkLIk S.
