ORDIN9NCE No, 172 BY IVffi.S. PARKER AN ORDINAINCE TO APEND SECTION 12 OF TITLE TI OF ORDINANCE No. 86 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, tha.t:- Section 1. Section 12 of Tit].e II of Ordinance No. 86, being the Building Code of Mayfield Village9 be and the same hereby is amend.ed so that the same sha.ll read as follovrss- "Sec. 12. Any ownex or his agent desiring a permit for the construction' enlargement, alteration, repair' or removal of any building or any structure, sha.ll first obtain a permit there- for in writing from the Inspector of Buildings. Applica.tion therefor shall be macle in writing upon-printed forms furnished by the In- spector of Buildings. It shall, except for removals, be accompanied by a complete set of specifications-and by a complete set of plans and working dravvings. The Inspector of Buildings shall examine or cause same to be .examined and if same complies, in a11 respects, with the prorrisions of this ordirance,-he shall forthwith issue a permit for the constructions thereof. "If an application for permits made as herein provided, does not meet with the approgal of the Building Inspectorp he shall tran5mit said plans, drawinga and specifica.tions to the Council with a statement of reasons for disapproval the-reofm The Council may' upon examination of said plans., drawings, and specifications, authorize the Inspector of Buildings to issue permit therefor. "Plans,,drawings and specifications, after action there- upon by the BuiTding Tnspector, shall be returned to the-applicant. If same have been approved; one copy thereof shall be filed with the Inspector of Buildings before commencing-the construction and shall remain,on file until the completion of said-building or structure when the same shall be returned to the ovaner or his agent9 if request of sueh terms is made in ws°iting at the time copy is filed with the Inspector of Bnildings, and if no such rey,uest for the return of plans ai1d speci:fications is made, the Inspector of Buildings may destroy them9-after ten days from the completion of the work and its approval by the Inspector of Buildings.
