PARi{ER. <br />AN QRDTNANCE TQ A112END ORDINk11CE No. 173 <br />HFRF,TaFORE PASSED By THIS COUNCIZ. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Counci.l of the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, thats- <br />Section lo Section 4 of Ordinance Noo 173 entitled "An Ordinance to <br />provide for a special paliceman", be and the same hereby is asnended so that the <br />same shall read as followst- <br />"$ection 4. Such special policema.g'sha11 be paid the sum of <br />Twrelve Hundred Fifty Doll.ars ($1250o00)1/a year in substantially <br />equal monthly, or semi-monthly, installments as full compensation <br />for theā¢-duties performed by hi.m, arid he shall give bond in the sum <br />of Five Hundxed Do]:lars ($500s00);`.?' Such special policeman shall <br />provide his- own automobile to assist in the discharge of his duties <br />and as compensation for the use of such automobile said special /policeman shall be allowed and paid the sum of ten cents (10¢)?per <br />mile for each mile said automobile is used in the performance of <br />said special policemanes.dutiesv Such mileage shall be paid said <br />Special policemam manthly' upon bills rendered the Village by said <br />special policeman, which said bills shall set forth in full detail <br />the date said autamobile ilvas used, the time vf day of its use, the <br />distance travelled, the points betwTeen which said automobile vras driv- <br />en and the nature of the business in which said automobile vias used. <br />"uuch bills shall be submitted to this Cauncil anc7' upon approval by <br />the Council9 shall be paids" <br />Section 2. This Ordinance ia hereb,y declared to be an Emergency <br />Ordinance, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and convenience far reasons apparent from the contents of said Ordinance. <br />PaSSed the 18th day of October, A.
