<br />' Sec. 2. The sections and provisions of Ordinance No. 86,
<br />kno~vn as the Building Code of the ViLage of iayfield, as the same has
<br />~; from time to tune been heretofore amended, to the extent that the same
<br />• provides for the location, design, materials, constructions, alteration,
<br />iii repair, equipment use, occupancy, maintenance, removal and demolition
<br />` ~ . ~ ~!~ of one-family and two-family dwell~.ngs and appurtenant structures, and
<br />• '~ the administration thereof and thereunder, inclucling the issuance,
<br />. ~ scope and obligation of building permits, inspections, penalties for
<br />~ violation, powers of Building Official and the right to and procedure
<br />for review of his decisions, and for the registration, licensing and
<br />' ~ certificates of qualifications of contractors, electricians, plumbers,
<br />welders, inspectors or alp other persons providing work or services
<br />' ~ ," under the D~relling House Code, be and the same are hereby repealed;
<br />provided, however, that Ordinance No, 360, providing for an Architectural
<br />' - Board of Revie4r and an Advisory Architect, as amended by Ordinance No.
<br />109, Ordinance No. 110, establishing a minimum living area for dwelling ~
<br />houses, Ordinaa~ce No. 2$5, prohibiting and prescribing a penalty for !
<br />• - occupancy of residence buildings before completion thereof, Ordinance
<br />No. 298, creating the position of Building Inspector & Service Director,
<br />• ~ and Ordinance No. 3$5, requiring construction of driveways and culverts
<br />', ,, ~ ~ ~ not later than the time of excavation, shall remain in full force
<br />-~ i .: ~~~d effect.
<br />Sec. 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
<br />~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 1 measure, necessary for the imaediate preservation of the public peace, ~~
<br />~~ health and safety of the Village of Mayfield and its intaabitants, in
<br />' that adequate requirements must be established for the construction
<br />' ~ ~ of dwellings for use for human habitation, and this Ordinance shall
<br />~ take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
