Oatess <br />AP1 ORDINANCE TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSI~NTS FOR THE IMPROVEiL~NT <br />OF T~TORTON PARK DRIVE IN THE-- VILLAGE Or HAYFIELD, OHIO, <br />FROM Tr,TILSbN T~iL-LT,S .ROAD TO- TILE END OF THE DEDICATED- STREET, <br />WHICH IS 1315.60 FEET -FROM. THE SOUTH LINE .OF. Y~SON MILLS <br />ROAD. IIV THE VILLAGE OF I~~.Y.t~'IELD, OHIO. , _ . <br />BE TT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF T-t~ VILLAGE OF MAYr'IELD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Sec. 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense of improving <br />Worton Parli Drive in the Village of I°layfield, Ohio; from ;+slilson N1i11.s Road <br />to the end of the dedicated street, which is 1315.60 feet from the South <br />line of Wilson I'Ii11s Road in the Village of I`-a.yfield, Ohio, amounting in <br />the aggregate to]2,632.95, as reported to this Council on the 21st day <br />of February, 1.955, by Board heretofore appointed to estimate said assessments, <br />notice of the filing of which assessments has been given as,required by law, <br />be and the. same is hereby adop_ted:'and.confirmed, and .,that there be and d~here <br />is hereby :levied and assessed upon th'e lots and larir3:s~ bounding and abutting <br />upon said improvement the .several amounts :reported as aforesaid, wI-~.i.ch <br />assessments together with the descripti ons. of said lots and lands are now <br />on file in the office of .the.. Clerlt of this Council, -and wlv.ch assessments <br />are in proportion to .the special benefits.=and~.are not in excess. of the special <br />benefits to said property, and ~ are' not in~ excess of any statutory l; rrii tation. <br />Sec. ~2. That-the total"assessment. against ,each ;lot or parcel of land <br />shall be payable in cash within. thirty. (-30-),.days from--arid -after the passage <br />of this .ordinance, or at the option of the oianer; in ten -(1:0) annual install- <br />ments wit'ri~. interest -at the same rate - as shall be borne on the bonds`='to be <br />issued in anticipation oi;-the col--lection of the same® -All cash--payments <br />shall be made to the treasurer nf:=the VLage_~of Mayfield, All assessments <br />and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of s~.d thirty (30) <br />days shall be certified by the Clerk of the Council to the County Auditor, <br />as provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and collected <br />as other taxes are collected. <br />Sec. 3.
