Strater <br />AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSI~IEN`fS FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF SENECA ROAD IN THE VILLAGE -OF I~IAYFIELD <br />OHIO, FRONT SOM CEN^lER ROAD IN APd EASTERLY DIRECTION . <br />TO THE ~TLSTERLY LIVE OF' BEACH HILL ROAD. . . <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY ^1HE COUNCIL ~ THE VILLAGE OF tMAYFIELD, STATE OF' OHIO: <br />Sec. 1m That the assessmer_t of the cost and expense of improving <br />Seneca Road in .the Village of I"layfield, Ohio, from SOM Center Road in an <br />Easterly Ih.rection to the ~~esterly line of Beach Hil]. Road, amounting in <br />the aggregate.to X13,037.00, as .reported to this Council on the 21st day of <br />~:iebruary, 1955,, by Board heretofore appointed to estimate sad..assessments, <br />notice of the filing of which. assessments has been given~as required by lat., <br />be end the same is hereby adopted and confirmed, and that there be and there <br />is hereby levied and assessed upon the lots and lands bounding and abutting <br />upon said;irnpi°ovement the several amounts reported as afoxesaid,which <br />assessments together with the descriptions.; of -said lots and lands are now <br />on file in the office of the CIerI~ of this Council, and which assessments <br />are ir_ proportion to the special benefits:.,:and are not::,in excess of the special <br />benefits to. said ,property, and are not in;excess,of any statutory lirn~tation. <br />Sec® 2® That~the.total assessment aoanst:each.lot or parcel of land <br />shall be `payable in~cash within.~hirty.(30) days from and after the passage <br />of this ordinance,. or. at the option of the ovmer, iri ten (10) annnal.:install- <br />ments with interest at the`'same rate as~shall be boi~ne on the bonds .to be <br />issued im anticipation_,of the .collection 'of the same. A]1 cash payments <br />shall be mace to' the 'treasurer :of _tYie V1l_age of i''Tayfield. All assessments <br />and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said thirty <br />(30) days shall be certified by the Clerk of the Council to the County Auditor, <br />as provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and collected <br />as other taxes are collected, <br />Sec. 3.
