Ordinance No. 532 <br />By Mr. Hopkins <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE OF COMPENSATION FOR <br />ROAD IA BOR AND .REPEALING ORDINANCE No. lt28 <br />~YOR1~~~DT~TTHE COUNC~ OF THE VILLAGE OF MA'Yr'IELU, CUYAHOGA <br />... -_ - . - Sec ~. 1. ~ From and after January 1st, 1956, the Vil7fa.ge of <br />' Mayfield shams pay the sum of ~1,50.per hour for labor performed by <br />arty person other than the Road. Foreman in connection with the <br />maintenance and upkeep of its roads, streets and highways. The rate <br />of compensation may be changed by Council. at any time by ordinance, <br />resolution or motion. <br />Sec. 2. Existing Ordinance No. L.~28 entitled: "An Ordinance <br />fixing the rate .of compensation for road labor and repealing Ordinance <br />No. 2la.9" is hereby repealed from and after the date of this ordinance. <br />Sec„ 3. This Ordinance i.s hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield, i.n order that <br />the Village may be able to procure the common_laboi^ necessary to keep <br />its roads, streets and highways in good condition and this ordinance <br />shall. be in force and go into effect from and after the date of its <br />passage. <br />Passed this lhth day of January, 1956. <br />yor - residen o ounci <br />Attest: <br />S L .~.. er <br />
