Sec. 19. The handling of explosives may be performed by other <br />employees provided the work is done under the direct supervision of the <br />person holding the permit to use explosives and providing such employees <br />are at least ttrenty-one years of age. <br />Sec. 20. Any person, firm or corporation using, storing or <br />transportixig explosives within the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, shall comply <br />with all applicable provisions of the General Code of Ohio and all regulations <br />of the Industrial Commission of Ohio applicable thereto, which provisions <br />are made a part of_this ordinance. <br />Sec. 21. Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed as app];Ting <br />to the regular military or naval forces of the United States, the authorized <br />militia of this state, or to the members of the_.Police_.and Fire Departments <br />in the proper performance of their duty. <br />Sec® 22. Pyrotechnics. <br />(a) The term "Pyrotechnics" whenever used in this ordinance, <br />shall be held to mean any sprinkler, squibb, rocker, firecracker, roman <br />candle, fire balloon, rai_Isoad track •torpedo, flashlight composition, <br />fireworks, or other device or composition used to obtain visible or <br />audible pyrotechnic display. <br />(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to have, keep, store, <br />use, manufacture, sell, handle, transport, or other~rise dispose of any <br />pyrotechnic within the 1_mits of the Vi7.].~~,ge of Mayfield; provided, <br />however, that the Fire Chief, upon proper application ?Wade, may issue a <br />permit to a properly qualified person or organization for giving a <br />pyrotechnic display of fireworks in public parks or other public p7~.ces. <br />Such permits shall impose such restrictions as in the opinion of the Fire <br />Chief ma~T.be necessary to safeguard life and property. <br />Sec. 23. Any person who vio]:ates any provision of this ordinance <br />shall be gu~ i~ty of misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof, s?~a.ll be fined <br />a sum no•t less than~50.00, nor more than X200.00, for each offense, or <br />shall stand committed until payment thereofe <br />Sec. 2~.
