DRIVE®_ ~. ~.YF~REAS; WJorton Park lkive from Wilson Hills Road to Hemingway Road was re-surfaced in the year 1955 and the abutting property. owners contributed 75~ of the cost of said improvement; and 3n7I~REAS, it is now necessary to patch and re-surface said pave- ment in order to .prevent deterioration thereof and The Northern Ol~.o Paving Company has made a bid to perform said work for X875.00, which Council deems to be the lowest price at which said work can be done; and W[~REAS, approximately X650.00 of the funds contributed by the abutting property owners has not been used and is in the Village Treasury. NO?~ THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, C UYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, TiiAT : , _ _ _ - . - Sec. 1. The Mayor and the Clerls of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement in writing with The Northern Ohio Paving Company for the patching and surface treatment of the. pavement on ~rJorton Park Drive from Wilson MiL1,s Road to the culvert at the Hemingway Road intersection for the sum of not over ~875.OOo There is hereby appropriated from the Village Treasury said sum of money for said purpose. Sec. 2. This_Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary fort immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants because of the necessity of repair~.ng the aforementioned portion of ~'Jorton Park Drive before the cold weather sets in and this ordinance sha_71 be in__ force and effect from and after the date of its passaged Passed this 20th day of October, 1956.
