CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT., _ _ ., ._ _ - ....~•..- • ..-- •.. -:, - -- _ _ Sec. 1.- That the assessment of the cost and expense of-improving Glenview. din. the village of Mayfield,- Ohio, from SOM Center Road in an Easter],y directi.on_to the 3r~esterly line_-of Beech Hill Road in the village of Mayfield, by the construction of a water main and appurtenances therein, amounting in the aggregate to-$15,010.00, as reported to this Council on the 15th day of (ktober, 1956,.-by Board~he~°etofore appointed t® estimate said assessments, notice of the filing of which assessments has been given as required by law, be and same is .hereby adopted and confirmed, and that there be and there is hereby levied and assessed upon the lots and lands bounding and abutting. upon said improvement the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments together with the descriptions of~•said lots and -lands are .now ~on file in the office Hof ~th~e Clerk of this Council: and ' which assessments are in proportion to the special benefits and are not in i excess of the special benefits to said property, and are not in excess of ' at~y statutory ]imitation. _ - _. , Sec. 2. That the total assessment against each lot or parcel of land shall. be.payable._in cash within thirty (30) days-from and after the passage of this ordinance, or at the option of.the,:owner, in ten (10) annual installments with interest at the same rate as shall be borne on the bands to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the same. All cash payments shall. be made to the Treasurer of the 'village of Mayfield. All assessments and installments thereof .. remaining unpa.id_at the expiration of said thirty (30) dais shall. be certified by the Clerk of the Council to the County Auditor, as provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are col.lected• , Sec. .That this ordinance being an emergency measure for the immediate .preservation of the public peace' health and safety of the inhabitants of the Village of Mayfield, and shall. take effect immediately upon its passage and approval as an. emergency measure, because of the necessity of providing funds as soon as possible to pay the bonds to be issued in connection with said improvement. - Passed November 26, 1956. ...
