<br />AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A PETTY CASH FUND FO~i THE
<br />SERVICE DIRECTOR AND BUILDING INSPECTOR.
<br />BE IT ORDAZhIED BY THE COUTdCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ~~AY~'IELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY

<br />Secs l~ There is hereby created a Petty Cash Fund to be in charge
<br />of the Servzi ce~3irector and Building Inspector of the pillage of hayfield,
<br />Ohio' _ - ~ l
<br />Sec® 2. There shall be paid from the General Fund the sum of 25x00
<br />into the e~tty~Cash Fund of the Service Director and Building Tnspector,
<br />and from said Fund the Service Director and Building Tnspector.shaL be
<br />authorized to pay emergency expenses for the_ purposes . of said depax°tment
<br />which, while t~aithin the general scope of expenses authorized by the current
<br />appropriation ordinance, have not been specifically authorized, payment
<br />for which cannot be postponed until the next meeting of Council. The
<br />Service Director and Building Tnspector shall take a receipt for such
<br />payments ..and shall present them at the next meeting of the.Council and,
<br />if Council approves such payments, it shall order the reimbursement of the
<br />Petty Cash Fund of the Service Director and Building Inspector to the
<br />extent_of such payments, so that immediately after each council meeting
<br />there shall always be the sum of X25.00 available in said Fund for use
<br />until the next Council meeting® _
<br />Sec. 3, This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency
<br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
<br />health, safety and welfare of the pillage of Mayfield and its inhabitants
<br />in order to provide for the more expeditious operation of the office of
<br />Serv:i.ce Dirzctor~ and Building Inspector and shall go into effect and be
<br />in force -immediately' upon the date of its passaged
<br />Passed this 21st day of January, 1957.
