The T'1ayor and tYie Clerk are hereby authorized on behalf <br />~ of the i~__ age of Mayfield, Ohio, to enter into an agreement in writing <br />~ with the City of University T-Ieights, Ohio, for the use of radio broadcastir_g <br />~ facilities of Station RQA 931 ~ connection with the motor vehicles operated <br />~ by the Po11ce Department of the Village of Mayfield, for a period of two <br />~ years commencing June 1st, 1957,. and ending May 31st, 1959, unless said <br />agreement is sooner terminated by either party by 60 days' written notice. <br />Such agreement is to provide that the City of University He~.ghts wil3. <br />broadcast calls and messages on said station when and as requested by the <br />Village of Ma.yf3.eld and that the Village of Mayfield sha11 pay therefore <br />at the rate of X515.00 per month for one-wa.;T service only, and for all <br />other service at the rate of X20.00 per month for 50 calls or less, X25.00 <br />er month for 51 to 204 calls, ~30.OO,per month for 201 to 300 calls, and <br />35.00 per month for-over 301 calls,~plus any additional expenses incurred <br />by the City of University Heights foY° to]1 calls, long distance telephone <br />calls, telegrams or charges for excess calls in connection with such servi.ce® <br />Sec, 2. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of <br />the Vill.age~lr asury the sum of X35.00 per month plus such other amounts <br />as may be necessary during the term of said contract to pay certain <br />services to be rendered thereunder. <br />Sec. 3• The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to take such s Ceps as <br />may be necessary to the execution of said contract. <br />~ Sec. !~.
