He sr.all be appointed for a pex°3.od of two yearsa frwn Jannary ls ? 1958, to December 31st 1959, both days inelusive, and shal1 reee3.ve as eompensati,on the sum of 62a000.00 per anrnim, payable in equal montbly installmentss wh;.ch compsnsati.on shall covex° a1`L general services rend.ered to the said Village as sueh legal counsel, with the excep't,a.on of the foll.awing: .
