The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement in writing with said Harold P. Peterson, whereby he wM be paid on the follotifing basis : ror Improvements r 8% of t??.e accep?ted bid., 'if -f,he total cos t of th?e improvement be less than U25.,000.00; 7% of the accepted bid if the total cost of the improvement shall.be less than $503000.00 but more than $25.,000,00; 6% of the accepted bid for ariy improvement the cost of which is $150J000.00 or more; in a11 cases the Engineer is to b e paid one half of the amount of his compensation upon the awarding of the bid and as soon as funds for said improvement are in the Treasury.
