ORDIN,ANCE No. 688 <br />By Mr. Wedler <br />AN ORDIN.ANCE FROVIDING FOR THE IlMPLOYMENT <br />OF AlV ENGINEER FOR THE VILIAGE OF M,AYFIELD <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIZ OF THE VILI,AGE OF MAYFIELD, GUYAHOGA COUN'TY <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. Harold P. Peterson is hereby. employed and appointed as <br />Engineer f or the Village of Mayf ield until December 31st, 1961, such <br />employment, however, to be terminable by either the Village or said Engineer <br />upon 90 daysl"written notice to the other., <br />,t. <br />3ec. 2. Said Harold P. Feterson shall be compensated as follows, and, <br />the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement in <br />writing with said Harold P. Peterson, if he so requests, whereby he will be <br />paid on the following basis: <br />.._ <br />......... <br />For Improvements; 8% of the accepted bid, if the total cost <br />of the improvement be less than $25,000.00; 7% of the accepted bid <br />if the total cost of the improvement shall be less than <br />$50,000.00 but more than $25,000m00; 6% of the accepted bid <br />f or any improvement the cost of which is $50,000.00 or more; <br />in all cases the Engineer is to be paid one-half of the amount <br />of his compensation upon the awarding of the bid and as soon <br />as funds f or said improvement are in the Treasury. <br />. For Other Services <br />Village Engineer or Frincipal Assistant $7.50 per hour <br />Party Chief, Draftsman, Calculator, <br />Office Manager 5.00 per hour <br />Field Crew 15.00 per hour <br />Senior: Transitman or levelman 3,00 per hour <br />Junior: Transitman or levelman 2.75 per hour <br />Senior: Rodman, Chainman, Tracer, Clerk 2.50 per hour <br />Junior: Rodman, Chainman or Typist 2050 per hour <br />Transportation per mile per vehicle .10 <br />Materials, supplies and services by others At cost <br />Payment shall be made under the above schedule of rates at the <br />completion of each service and upon billing by the Engineer, <br />setting forth the time, expense, supplies, and transportation <br />furnished. The Village Engineer or Frincipal Assistant shall attend <br />regular Council meetings and be paid f or 2 hours!'time on <br />the basis of the above mentioned rates f or such person.
