OF A SERVTCE TRUCK• <br />? <br />Q - _ <br />F-? , - <br />U) WHEREAS, due advertisement has been made in accordance with law, <br />inviting bids for the sale to the Village of iiayfield of a new 1960 Service <br />Truck and Equipment, in accordance with the specifications approved by <br />the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the bid of 1o Jo Trotter, Inco9 a responsible bidder, <br />dated January 16, 1960, in the amount of Four Thousand Seven Hundred <br />Seventy Tcao and 18/100 Dollars ($4772.18), with an allowance of Five <br />Hundred Dollars ($500.00) f or the 1953 Dodge Dump Truck now owned by <br />the Village, is deemed by Council to be_in substantial eompliance with <br />the advertised specif ications and to be the lowest and Uest bid.subnittede <br />t3E IT ORDAZNED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VIL-LAGE OF 2iAYFIEI,D9 CUYAHOGA COUNTX <br />OHIO, THAT r <br />Sec. 1, Couneil accepts the af orementioned bid of L. J. Trotter, <br />Inc., for the sale to the Village of Mayf ield of a Dodge Chassis and Dump <br />Body9 in accordance with the bid snbmitted under date of January 16, 1960, <br />in the amount of $4,772.18, together with the sum of $65.00 for a heater <br />and defroster of the better type, with an allowance of $500.00 for the <br />? 1953 Dodge Dump Truck now owned by the Village. . <br />? Dec. 2, The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into an Agreement in writing with said L. J. Trotter, Inc. for <br />the purchase of `,said equ.ipment, ttp execute an assignment of the.Certificate <br />of Titl.e of the 1953-Dodge ?hiftip Truck to said L. J. Trotter y Ince , and to <br />? make, execute and deliver such papers and documents as may be.necessary <br />CL to carry into eEfect the terms of this ordinancee <br />? . <br />?Sec. 3. There is hereby appropriated fram the Village Treasury <br />? a sum suff icient to carry out the terms of this ordinance. <br />? <br />< Sec. 40 This ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency <br />a ' measare, necessary,£or the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />z health, saf ety and welf are, beeause of the necessity of having equipment <br />? as soon as possible to carry on vital gunctions of the gillage9 and this <br />ordinance shall go into f orce and eff ect from and af tex the date of its <br />passage. <br />Passed thi,s 19th day of Februarye 1960. <br />Attestt ' ?
