ORDINANCE No. 708 <br />By Mro Grootegoed <br />AN ORDIN.ANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE STANDARD OTL <br />COMPANY FOR THE SAIZ OF GASO.LTNE AND MOTOR OIl _ <br />WHEREAS, due advertisement has been.made according to law, requesting <br />bids f or the sale to the Village of Mayf ield of gasoline and automotive <br />lubricants f or a period of two years; and <br />WHEREAS, The Standard Oil Company f iled its bid in due time in <br />accordance with the specif ications established by the Village in connection <br />with said request f or bids, and said bid is the lowest and best submitted. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIZ OF THF VII,LAGE OF MAYFIEZD, <br />CUY,AHOGA COUNTY OHIO THAT: _ <br />Sec. 1. The bid of The Standard Oil Company, offering to furnish f or <br />a two year period, in equipment to be installed by said bidder on the property <br />of the Village of Mayf ield oh a lease basis at no cost to the Village, of <br />the Villagegs requirements of Sohio Extron Gasoline and Sohio 8uper Boron <br />Gasoline at $ .161 per gallon and $ ,196 per gaJ.lon, respectively, <br />exclusive of State and Federal tax, for the f irst three months of the contract, <br />such price to be subject to decline when and in the amount of any decline in <br />the dealer posted tank wagon price, and for each successive three .month period <br />thereafter, the price to be subject to escalation upward or downward with <br />and in the same amount as the dealer posted tank wagon price on the first day <br />of each such three month period, ter.ms to be net 30 days, and for the f urnishing <br />of Sohio L. D. 0, Motor Oil 10 W-30 in 54 gallon drums at 84? per gallon, <br />exclusive of all taxes'. with a drum deposit charge of $3.00 each, ter.ms to be <br />17o 10 days, 30 days net, be and the same hereby is accepted. <br />Sec. 2o The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village of Mayfield are hereby <br />authorized and empowered to exeeute and deliver a contract i:ncorporating the <br />terms of said bid, - <br />?Y <br />Sec. 3.
