OF RSAYFIEI,D, _ AND _ <br />FRESCRIBING EENAZTTES_FOR VIOLATIONS TFiEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY 'I'fiE COUNCIZ OF THE VII,ZAGE - OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. loitering by one person. It shall be unlawful for any person <br />' to loiter, lurk or prowl upon any street-or sidewalk or in front of or upon any <br />business premises or in front of or upon any residential premises ( except his <br />own place o£ sesidenee) in the Village of Mayf ield, Ohio, without having a <br />' lawful business, occupation, or purpose therefor, or without being able to <br />' give a satisfactory explanation of his presence at such place. <br />. Sece 2, loitering.and Congregating by Groups oE Persons. It shall <br />' be unlawful f or any person, as part of a group of three or more persons, to <br />loiter, congregate, lurk or prowl upon the streets or sidewalks or upon or <br />in front of any business premises or in front o£ any place of residetace <br />(other than his own place of residence ) in the Pillage of Mayfield, Ohio, <br />without having a lawful business., occupation, or purpose therefor, and <br />without being able to give a satisf actory explanation of his presence at <br />stach place. <br />Sec. 3. Unlawful Loitering and Congregating in a Certain Manner. <br />It shall be unlawful f or any pesson, either by himself or as a part of a <br />group of three or more persons, to loiter, congregate, lurk or prowl upon <br />any street or sidewalk or in front of or upon any business premises or in <br />front of or upon any residential premises ( except his own place of residence) <br />in the Village of Mayf ield, Ohio, in such a manner as to annoy, insnlt or <br />interfere with any person or business, os in an unreasonably loud or boisterous <br />manner, or in such a manner as to create a breach of the peace. <br />Sec. 4. Fenalties. Any person violating any of the provisions of <br />Sections 1, 2 or 3 of this Ordinance shall be f ined not more than $50.00 and <br />i.mprisoned not more than 10 days, or both. <br />Sec. 5. Separability of Sections. It is the intention of this <br />Council that each separate provision and section of this Ordinance shall be <br />deemed independent of all other provisions and sections thereof, and it is <br />further the intention of Council that, if any provisions or sections of <br />this Ordinance sha11 be declared invalid, all other provisions and sections <br />of this Ordinance shall remain valid and enforeeable.
