<br />1603.23 . Issuance of Certificate`
<br />-: A Certificate of Occupancy.shall be issued

<br />of the owner, the Building Official may issue

<br />1603.25 Altered Buildings ot Structures No building or structure, so altered as to
<br />change `'its classification of occupancy,"and
<br />no altered building ar structure for which
<br />a. Certificate of Occupancy has not been
<br />heretofore 'issued; shall4 be occupied,or used,
<br />in' wliole or, 'in part, until a Certificate, of
<br />Qcctipancy ; shall .have:. been issued by , the
<br />Building, , Official; , provided that if the oc-
<br />cupancy', :qr use . of such . buildirig was ;not
<br />d'iscontinued 'during the 'work or alteration,

<br />1603.26.., Change of Occupancy , -= No 'change' of occupancy shall be made in
<br />a: building' or structure 41iat is not consistent
<br />with the' last issued Certificate of Occupancy
<br />for` such building or structure, unless a new
<br />Certificate of Occupancy is secured. The oc-
<br />cupancy of a building or structure shall not
<br />be deemed to 'have changed because of a
<br />temporary vacancy or change of ownership
<br />or tenaricy. The re-establishment in a; build-
<br />ing or structure, after a'change of occupancy
<br />fias lieen made, of :a prior use that is not
<br />permitted in a new building or struc:ture of
<br />the ? same, type of construction, is prohibited.

<br />Appurtenances - '
